REPORTS TO: Shift Facilitator with the direction from the Team Captain

SHIFT DAYS /HOURS
: 3rd Shift Position Sunday night to Wednesday night (9:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.) over the course of 4 days (40+ hours). Friday (Thursday night) could be scheduled as needed.

• As an Extrusion Press Operator, you may be required to perform various tasks, including running the press, die changes, and inspection. Additionally, you will be responsible for visually monitoring parts for surface defects. It is important to keep your work areas clean and safe.
• To qualify for this role, you must be able to run an aluminum extrusion press, read and understand a tape measure, operate the overhead crane, use micrometers, lift to 50 pounds, and read and understand shop orders.

• HS Diploma/GED
• Must also pass a skills-based test.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work efficiently and effectively; self-motivated; self-starter.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Must be conscientious, diplomatic, and detail oriented.
• Must pass a company background check and drug screen.

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
• The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually loud and always without air conditioning.
