Job Title: Tool & Die Job Description

Schedule: Monday through Friday (4:00 am – 2:00 pm); overtime as needed.

Use surface grinders, wire EDM, RO grinders, and other equipment to create and match tooling to part drawings, ensuring high‑quality parts and adherence to quality and production standards.

• Read blueprints and use measuring devices to make or modify tooling for new and existing jobs.
• Build dies, weld fixtures, and perform miscellaneous tasks using supplied prints and bench design.
• Maintain tools: sharpen, store, and check tool holders are in good working condition.
• Repair or requisition replacement parts, tools, or hardware as needed to maintain stock.
• Set up and operate all tool room machines for specific form tools, taps, drills, or holders for grinding.

• Working knowledge of quality inspection gauges and measurement tools.
• Accurate completion of Modineer production system documentation (production reports, inspection reports, etc.).
• Experience operating manual lathe, mill, grinder, and cut‑off saw (required).
• Experience running CNC lathe and mill (preferred).
• Forklift experience (plus).
• CAD design experience (preferred).
• Journeyman Tool & Die Maker / Repair (preferred).
• Ability to read, understand, and interpret blueprints.

The position is in a factory setting and may involve sitting, standing, walking, and lifting for long periods of time throughout the day.
