Schedule:

Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 6:00 AM–6:00 PM
Pay:$26.00–$30.00 per hour, based on experience

Position Overview

A growing precision manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Level 3 CNC Machinist for its weekend shift.

This position is ideal for a skilled machinist who can set up and operate multi-axis CNC equipment, read blueprints, apply GD&T, troubleshoot production issues, and consistently produce high-quality precision parts.

You will work with advanced CNC equipment to manufacture components used in the aerospace, medical, defense, agriculture, and industrial sectors.

What You’ll Do
  • Set up and operate multi-axis CNC machines
  • Produce parts according to blueprints, specifications, and quality requirements
  • Make machine adjustments and offsets to maintain proper dimensions
  • Troubleshoot setup, tooling, machine, and production issues
  • Inspect completed parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring tools
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, manuals, and work instructions
  • Apply geometric dimensioning and tolerancing principles
  • Monitor machines for defects, tool wear, or performance concerns
  • Perform routine equipment checks and basic preventative maintenance
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Communicate production or quality concerns to supervisors and team members
  • Support other machinists and operators when needed
What We’re Looking For
  • At least three years of CNC machine operation or machining experience
  • CNC setup and troubleshooting experience strongly preferred
  • Experience with CNC lathes, mills, Swiss-style, gantry-style, or mill-turn machines
  • Experience with Murata or Star machinery is a plus
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints
  • Working knowledge of GD&T
  • Experience using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring tools
  • Understanding of machining and production procedures
  • Ability to identify and correct machining or quality issues
  • Strong mechanical and analytical skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic
  • Ability to stand and walk throughout the shift
  • Willingness to learn, accept coaching, and contribute as part of a team

Candidates with experience as a CNC Machinist, CNC Setup Machinist, CNC Lathe Machinist, Swiss Machinist, Mill-Turn Machinist, CNC Operator, or CNC Technician are encouraged to apply.
