Access Control Security Officer

Securitas is seeking an Access Control Security Officer to protect people, property, and assets at client facilities. In this on-site role, you will control entry points, verify IDs and badges, monitor CCTV and access control systems, and document all activities and incidents. You will conduct patrols, respond to alarms and emergencies, and enforce site policies with professionalism and integrity. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, clear communication, and excellent customer-service skills.

Securitas provides training, development, and clear paths for advancement into supervisory and specialist security positions.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control facility access at checkpoints, gates, and entrances
• Verify credentials, IDs, badges, and visitor passes using electronic systems
• Conduct patrols to identify safety or security risks and report incidents
• Operate CCTV, alarm, and access control systems per client protocols
• Respond to security incidents, alarms, and emergencies calmly and promptly
• Complete detailed logs, incident reports, and shift documentation
• Provide professional customer service to visitors, employees, and clients
• Enforce site security policies and procedures with consistency and fairness
• Collaborate with supervisors, law enforcement, and emergency responders as needed
• Participate in required safety, security, and compliance trainings
