Position Description

N & M Transfer is searching for a Part-time Customer Service Representative/Dispatcher to work at our terminal in Niles, MI. Monday - Friday: 2:30pm - 7:00pm

Responsibilities:

* Take calls from customers and enter pick-up orders

* Trace shipments and verify deliveries

* Communicate with customers

* Dispatch and assist drivers in the region

* Maintain cost-effective use of our equipment

* Complete daily reports as required

* Update and communicate freight consolidation

Qualifications include:

* Previous dispatching and/or customer service experience

* Good communication, interpersonal and organizational skills

* Data entry experience and problem-solving abilities

* Previous office experience or knowledge of the transportation industry is helpful, but not required.
