Job DescriptionRequirements:
- Professional 4-9 or 7-12 license preferred along with Pupil Services, School Counselor and/or School Psychologist license, or must be currently enrolled in a School Counselor or School Psychologist accredited program.
- Successful BCII & FBI background checks.
- Successful drug screen.
Qualifications:
- Assist students with graduation pathways to increase the graduation rate.
- Must be well versed in instructional technology and differentiation for students with academic and social/emotional behavioral needs.
- Maintain equipment, materials, and software used in the lab and assist students in learning how to use it.
- Monitor student progress, develop a timeline for completion of coursework, and provide progress reports to teachers, counselors, parents and school administration as required.
- Monitor in-school intervention by developing rules and procedures for students to follow during in-school intervention.
- Develop social/emotional programming to address student needs and reduce negative behaviors.
- Work with students, families, staff and community resources to improve and maintain positive behaviors of students while in school in areas such as, but not limited to, building incentive plans, referrals to appropriate district and/or community resources.
- Responsible for all documentation and directs the Absence Intervention Plans for students including accurate records of contacts and services provided for the Attendance Intervention Program.
- Responsible for coordinating, paperwork, scheduling AIT meetings with all parties.
- Work with administration to create alternative consequences for truancy.
- Work with students, families, staff and community resources to improve student attendance in areas such as, but not limited to, student phone calls, parent conferences, student meetings, referrals to appropriate district and/or community resources.

Salary: $38,597 Per Year
