Position:

• Teacher of Emotionally Disturbed
• school year

• Bachelor's Degree or higher.
• Valid State of Ohio Intervention Specialist license K-12 Mild/Moderate or Moderate/Intensive, or PreK-5 Intervention Specialist license.
• Prior teaching experience with ED children preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team setting.
• Outstanding work record and references.
• Successful BCII & FBI background checks.

• The salary schedule begins at $41,600 for a teacher with a bachelor's degree and no experience.
• TCESC teachers work a 184‑day contract.
• TCESC pays 90 percent of a teacher's healthcare premium each month.
• You accrue paid sick leave with also having three personal days per year.
• TCESC pays for a $50,000 life insurance policy.
• Funds are available for partial tuition reimbursement.
• TCESC provides a mentor and a structured program for resident educators.
