The Trumbull County Board of Developmental Disabilities has an opening for the  school year and beyond for a TEACHER in its Fairhaven preschool program.

POSITION:

* Preschool Teacher

REQUIREMENTS:

* Ideal candidates must have a valid Ohio Early Childhood Intervention Specialist (ECIS) license or other Ohio licensure qualifying the individual to provide preschool special education services.

* A dual licensure in Early Childhood Education and Early Childhood Intervention Specialist is preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Providing instruction to students with developmental disabilities in approved or adapted curriculum areas.

* Developing and implementing daily lesson plans consistent with students' Individual Education Plans and the general education curriculum guidelines.

* Maintaining classrooms conducive to learning.

* Conducting conferences with parents/guardians or other personnel.
