Job Title: Medical Assistant Instructor (Part Time, Mornings & Evenings, Monday‑Friday)

Location: Niles, OH (Niles Campus)

Responsibilities
  • Teach clinical and administrative skills in the Medical Assisting classroom to a maximum of 24 students.
  • Deliver lectures and demonstrations using Ross lesson plans and curriculum.
  • Lead 4.5‑hour sessions during day or evening blocks.
  • Serve as a fully trained instructor for year‑round morning and evening classes.
  • Maintain part‑time workload of 9‑18 hours per week, with flexibility to teach both mornings and evenings.

Qualifications
  • 3+ years’ experience in medical assisting and formal training from an accredited institution; or 5+ years’ experience with a national certification in the medical field.
  • Ability to obtain or hold a national certification as a medical assistant.
  • Interest in teaching or prior teaching experience.
  • Flexibility and passion for learning and growth.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and move around the classroom or building.
  • Visual and auditory ability to operate computer equipment and use classroom tools.
  • Proficiency with current technology to maintain student records.
  • Effective communication in classroom and individual settings.
  • Knowledge of subjects taught and ability to use the Ross curriculum.
  • Adaptability in a fast‑paced work environment.
  • Professional demeanor and conduct as a Ross representative and student mentor.
  • Commitment to quality and attention to detail.
  • Adherence to Ross Code of Conduct and Professional Ethics.
  • Ability to work as a clinical coordinator if required (travel to clinical sites).
  • Prior teaching or formal tutoring experience using a developed curriculum preferred.
  • Ability to perform related duties as needed.
