Position: Weekend Only Night Time Packer!!
Weekends Only – Saturday & Sunday Nights!$15.25/hr + $7.00 Shift Adder Work just TWO nights and earn BIG weekend pay!

Essential duties of the Packing Utility Worker:

Ensure the quality of aluminum is inspected by performing measurement checks and visual inspections

Will work one on one with a partner for the whole shift, unless otherwise told by the Supervisor Read packaging specs to ensure proper bundling

Retrieve racks of aluminum from holding area

Push racks of aluminum to workstation

Lift and position work horses on tables

Cut wood for bundles with a miter saw as needed

Use basic hand tools throughout shift (Retractable knife, deburr, etc.)Pack the aluminum with the appropriate material per customer specifications

Move metal and/or materials manually as required

Document the appropriate production information on paper and a computer

Requirements The Packing Utility Worker:

Must comply with company policies including but not limited to all safety policies

Must follow all Packing procedures and guidelines

Must know how to read a tape measure or be willing to learn for quality checks

Familiarity with computers is a plus, we will train on the jobMust be 18 years of age to work in the plant

Must have ability to read and understand basic instructions (Spanish instructions are provided asneeded)
Must have the ability to communicate verbally and in writing

Must be willing to participate in all required job and or employment related trainings. This includes butis not limited to all safety and technical or role or tool specific trainings.

This position requires the individual to work in a factory/manufacturing environment. The temperature scan fluctuate from hot to cold and the noise level is high. An individual in this role will be able to walk,bend, stoop, twist, turn, climb and push/pull frequently. With proper safety equipment, an individual inthis role may work above ground level (off the ground) occasionally. An individual in this role will needto be always aware of movement and/or noises around them.

An individual in this role must move
25lbs frequently and up to 50lbs occasionally. An individual in this role will remain stationary and/or traverse the factory as needed per essential duties of the position. An individual in this role will be an effective communicator verbally and in writing, and this role requires individuals to read and follow written procedures.
