Position: MIDNIGHT GENERAL LABOR
6 DAYS A WEEK!! GUARANTEED OVERTIMEBRT Extrusions, located in Niles, OH, is looking for general labor utility workers to join our expanding

Extrusions department. This position entails loading extruded aluminum shapes into steel racks,working closely with team members, and learning about material defects to prevent nonconformitiesfrom being processed. Shifts are generally 8 hours, but OT may be required as business needs/volumechange.

Essential duties of the Extrusions Utility Worker:

Load aluminum shapes onto steel racks as instructed by Supervisor and Saw Operator Follow material stacking specs to ensure product is loaded properly and defects are avoided

Keep empty racks prepped and prepared for loading

Use basic hand tools and a manual strapping tool throughout the shift

Ensure all saw chips are removed from extrusions with air guns provided

May work as a “Middleman” depending on the extrusion press assigned to you, this entailshelping the Stretcher Operators move long pieces of aluminum across the cooling table

Keep work area clean throughout the shift, when production is slow, or extrusion press is undermaintenance

Move metal product and/or materials/racks manually as required

May learn specific extrusion positions to become cross trained and fill in when necessary

Comply with Company policies including but not limited to all safety policies

Requirements of the Extrusions Utility Worker:

Must be 18 years of age to work in the plant

Must be able to work at a steady pace to keep up with material flow Should know how to read a Tape Measure or can be trained/coached to learn how to readmeasurements

Must follow all Extrusion Department procedures and guidelines

Must be able to work OT depending on production needs

Must be willing to work in other departments as needed

Must have ability to read and understand basic instructions (Spanish instructions are providedas needed)
Must have the ability to communicate verbally and in writing

Should have average math skills as this position loads material into racks in sets/rows

Must have good attendance – show up for work every day you are scheduled.

Must be willing to participate in all required job and or employment related trainings. This includes but is not limited to all safety and technical or role or tool specific trainings.

Physical requirements of the Extrusions Utility Worker:

This position requires the individual to work in a factory/manufacturing environment. The temperature scan fluctuate from hot to cold and the noise level is high. An individual in this role will be able to walk,bend, stoop, twist, turn, climb, and push/pull frequently. With proper safety equipment, an individual inthis role may work above ground level (off the ground) occasionally. An individual in this role will needto be always aware of movement and/or noises around them.

An individual in this role must move
25lbs frequently and up to 50lbs occasionally. An individual in this role will remain stationary and/or traverse the factory as needed per essential duties of the position. An individual in this role will be an effective communicator verbally and in writing, and this role requires individuals to read and follow written procedures.
