Job Title: Production Tow Motor Operator

Location: Niles, Ohio

Position Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM or 4:30 PM (depending on the day)

Pay Rate: $20-23 per hour

Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Tow Motor Operator who is also comfortable performing line work. The ideal candidate will have experience operating a tow motor in a warehouse or manufacturing environment and will be willing to assist with line work as needed. This is a dynamic role that requires attention to detail, safety awareness, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Tow Motor Operation: Safely operate a tow motor (forklift) to move materials, products, and pallets throughout the facility.
• Material Handling: Load and unload materials from trucks and storage areas, ensuring they are moved to the correct location.
• Line Work: Assist with assembly line tasks as needed, including packaging, sorting, or preparing products for shipment.
• Inventory Management: Assist with inventory control, including counting and scanning materials.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols while operating the tow motor and performing line work. Report any safety hazards immediately.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of materials moved, inventory levels, and completed tasks.
• General Assistance: Provide support to other departments as required to maintain a smooth and efficient workflow.

Requirements:

• Experience: Prior experience operating a tow motor or forklift in a warehouse or industrial setting is preferred.
• Flexibility: Ability to switch between tow motor operation and line work as needed.
• Valid Driver’s License: A valid driver’s license is required for this position.
• Drug Test: Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test is required.
• Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to [weight] pounds, stand for long periods, and perform repetitive tasks.

Additional Information:

• This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $20.00 per hour.
• The schedule may vary depending on operational needs, with work hours between 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM or 4:30 PM.
