JOB TITLE:
Home Health RN Visit Nurse
We are seeking a highly skilled, experienced, accountable, and self‑motivated home health RN to join our agency as a Home Health RN Visit Nurse to care for clients in and around Trumbull, Mahoning, and Stark counties in OH.
SCHEDULE TYPE & SERVICE AREA- Required schedule availability:
Monday - Friday (weekdays) from 8am - 5/6pm. - Part‑Time RN Visit Nurse requires a minimum travel radius of Mahoning and Trumbull counties plus surrounding areas up to a 60‑minute (up to 90‑minute) radius.
- Full‑time RN Visit Nurse region includes Mahoning, Trumbull, Stark, Ashtabula, Columbiana, Portage, and Carroll counties and areas up to a 2‑hour travel radius. Additional cases can be added if more hours are desired.
- Qualified applicants may reside in or near any primary service area so long as travel requirements are fulfilled throughout the assigned region.
- No on‑call requirements / no overnight shifts required.
- No required weekends (optional when available).
- Overtime, respite & PRN services are offered when available but are not required.
- This is a long‑term employment position requiring a recurring weekly schedule.
- RNs: $35 - $40 per hour.
- Compensation is based on employee qualifications and certifications, experience, skill specializations, positive employment history, and overall client & team fit.

- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
- Active RN license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Ohio.
- At least 1 year in home health industry + 1 year of nursing experience. Additional home health nursing experience/familiarity highly desired.
- Active CPR and First Aid certificates highly desired.
- Minimum of 1 year direct patient experience with vent care is required.
- Good interpersonal communication skills - written and verbal.
- Desirable character traits: reliable, honest, professional, compassionate, detail‑oriented (in care + documentation), accountable, friendly, accommodating, respectful.
- Current driver's license or state , plus reliable transportation, required.
- Excellent attendance record with past employers.
- Ability to meet all basic job requirements is a must.
- Willingness and ability to pass state and federal background check.
A successful RN Visit Nurse at Home Care Network, Inc., performs skilled nursing functions in accordance with the federal, state, and local laws and within the guidelines of his/her professional organization and agency. All functions are performed in accordance with established policies and practices and the state Nurse Practice Act. The RN delivers care to clients as delegated by the RN Case Manager.
Reports to:
RN Case Manager;
Clinical Administrator/Director of Nursing.
- Provides professional nursing care under the direction of a Registered Nurse. Communicates appropriate status/condition changes to the RN per agency guidelines.
