Experience and SkillsThe ADON is responsible for managing the nursing department in the absence of the DON. The ADON must possess leadership and supervisory skills and must be able to work with all team members. Qualified candidates must have a valid Ohio RN nursing license in good standing with the State, a minimum of 2–3 years of supervisory experience, and knowledge of long‑term care regulations and survey processes.
