Event Coordination

  • Plan and coordinate multiple events at once including children’s birthday parties and other craft classes or events.
  • Engage with clients of all ages, from 4 to 94+, by creating an environment of fun and creativity.
  • Demonstrate and instruct party participants in the completion of craft projects, perform face painting and other activities.
  • Facilitate and implement party add-ons such as goody bags, balloons, and other items to company standards.
  • Communicate events with clients and store team members.
  • Complete administrative tasks such as answering emails, making phone calls, and completing paperwork as needed.
  • Adjust plans and events based on client feedback and needs.
  • Create backup or emergency plans to be executed as needed.
  • Ensure client satisfaction for scheduled events.
  • Uphold the company’s cleanliness and safety standards; set up, break down, and clean before and after each event.
Customer Experience
  • Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
  • Provide fast and friendly checkout experience.
  • Engage customers in benefits of Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
  • Educate customers on Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
  • Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
  • Participate in the truck un‑load, stocking and planogram (POG) processes.
  • Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance.
  • Perform Store in Stock Optimization (SISO) and A/D set duties as assigned.
  • Support shrink and safety programs.
  • Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements; execute Company policies and standards.
  • Interact with others respectfully and positively, even in difficult situations; promote the organization’s vision and values and project a positive image as a role model for other team members.
  • Cross‑trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
  • Participate in daily store cleanliness activities, including sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and maintaining cleanliness of restrooms.

  • Retail and/or customer service experience required.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to remain standing for long periods.
  • Ability to move throughout the store.
  • Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching and stretching.
  • Lifting heavy boxes and accessing high shelves by ladder or similar equipment.
  • Request assistance for reasonable accommodation if needed.
Work Environment
  • Public retail store setting; all public areas climate‑controlled; some stock rooms may not be climate‑controlled; some outdoor work may be assigned to retrieve shopping carts or while unloading trucks.
  • Frame shop contains glass cutter and heat press; work hours include nights, weekends, and early mornings.
Compensation and Benefits

Total Base Pay Range: $11.00 - $13.00 per hour.
