Overview

In this role, you will assist in driving sales and creating buzz and excitement around the HP brand and products in local big‑box retailers and surrounding office‑supply stores. You will demonstrate products to customers and tailor demonstrations to their ideal needs, building rapport with customers and professional relationships with store management and employees.

Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate HP products at Best Buy and surrounding office supply stores.
  • Engage and build rapport with customers by creating a memorable experience.
  • Maintain professional relationships with management and staff within the assigned store.
  • Train retail store associates on HP products and services.
  • Maintain displays for cleanliness, functionality, and demo‑readiness.
  • Report competitive insights and other relevant information.
  • Sell products and services in retail, kiosk, or event environments.
  • Maintain professional interaction with both customers and fellow employees.
  • Meet or exceed personal sales goals on a monthly basis.
  • Courteously welcome customers and offer assistance.
  • Direct customers to displays, assess needs, and suggest products to fit those needs.
  • Advise customers by providing information on products and services.
  • Help customers make selections by building customer confidence.
  • Accurately document and report sales.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Track and communicate all activity to Retail Operations.
  • Ensure work station/kiosk is clean, well‑organized, functional, and presentable at all times.
  • Submit all paperwork completely and accurately.

Qualifications
  • Be a problem‑solving, tech‑savvy enthusiast.
  • Have an outgoing personality and be eager to learn.
  • Be comfortable engaging with customers and demonstrating products with training.
  • Ability to engage in a selling process that overcomes objections and connects with customer needs.
  • Retail or customer service experience in electronics, tech, or wireless is a plus.
  • Training or product demonstration experience is a plus.
  • 1‑year job experience required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Six months prior sales, retail, telecom, or marketing experience.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of products and services.
  • Excellent communications, presentation, interpersonal, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Impeccable integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced, team environment.
  • Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Ability to maintain customer confidentiality.
Performance Measurements
  • Regular and prompt attendance.
  • Meet established monthly/weekly sales quota/goals.
  • Customer/client satisfaction based on rejection percentage and substantiated complaints.
