Warehouse Manager, Distribution/ General Warehouse
Overview
Warehouse Supervisor at Bloom Energy in Fremont, CA. This position will work the day shift, 8am – 8pm, Thursday - Sunday, including every alternating Wednesday.
Role and Responsibilities- Supervise and motivate a team of team leads and team members; create a culture of personal responsibility, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Manage team member hiring, development plans, work schedule, time off, and department allocation.
- Develop and maintain peer relationships to achieve operational objectives and customer expectations.
- Interact with management and employees on shipment and delivery matters.
- Ensure effective and efficient operation and improvement of warehouse processes.
- Establish, implement, and maintain warehouse processes.
- Perform performance reporting on inventory, including cycle count and inventory accuracy.
- Maintain daily warehouse transactions for receipt, shipment, transfer, and kitting.
- Coordinate internal logistics activities for timely delivery and receipt of materials.
- Create and sustain standardized work practices.
- Initiate and facilitate problem‑solving groups to resolve issues.
- Create and maintain training, safety, workgroup boards, and continuous improvement projects (tools such as A3, 8‑Step, R.A.I.L.).
- Develop and implement 5S and housekeeping programs.
- Flexibility to work on any shift or area of plant based on company needs.
- Operate forklift equipment (forklift certification a plus).
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 2+ years of supervisory experience in a warehouse environment.
- Familiarity with organization and management of warehouse goods/materials and inventory systems (Oracle strongly preferred).
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project).
- Valid Delaware driver license.
- Strong self‑starter and team player with a can‑do attitude.
- Strong drive for results and continuous improvement.
- Strong lean manufacturing experience.
- Ability to prioritize and execute multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Skillful forklift operation (certification a plus).
- Lift up to 50 lbs.
- Stand and be on feet for long periods.
- Willing to travel to and one from local facilities daily.
- Requires repetitive keyboard motion to perform daily receiving/shipping transactions.

Salary Range: $87,800.00 - $
