Sales Representative Rental

Professionally manage an assigned territory in order to aggressively market all products represented by the Company to achieve sales, profit, and market share objectives.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience
• Sales/Marketing experience in the construction machinery industry with a thorough understanding and knowledge of products, applications, and markets
• Excellent communication, organizational, and presentation skills
• Good working knowledge of computers, spreadsheets, and word processing programs
• Good mathematical skills
• Must reside in territory

• Create, develop, and close new/used sales and rental deals within assigned territory and achieve sales volume, profit, and market share objectives
• Cover assigned territory by achieving established call standards
• Improve Boyd Company’s market coverage by prospecting for and developing new customers
• Establish and maintain excellent customer relationships through professional and ethical business conduct
• Develop and maintain knowledge on products, applications, industry, selling skills, and product support to enhance and achieve required sales performance
• Communicate technical information, product problems, competitive information, product support requirements, credit information, customer concerns, etc, to the proper departments and assure appropriate action is implemented
• Perform other duties as necessary and assigned
