Teacher’s Aide

The Teacher's Aide supports lead classroom teachers with instruction, classroom management, and student supervision. This role is designed for candidates with a heart for children, strong work ethic, and desire to grow in a Christian school setting.

Hourly Position All Classrooms Enrollment-Based Hiring

• Christian Faith Active personal Christian faith and full agreement with the school's Statement of Faith.
• Background Check Must pass a criminal background check and child abuse/neglect screening before employment.
• CPR / First Aid Current certification required, or willingness to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Mission Alignment Full agreement with the school's mission, vision, core values, and statement of faith.
• Character and Conduct Lifestyle consistent with biblical standards and Christian role model expectations.
• Church Involvement Active membership or regular attendance at a Bible-believing Christian church.
• Professional Development Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development, including ACSI accreditation-related training.

• Education High school diploma or GED equivalent. Required
• Age Must be at least 18 years of age. Required
• Experience Prior experience working with children in school, church, childcare, or structured youth programs. Required
• Support Skills Ability to assist with instruction, classroom management, and student supervision. Required
• Temperament Patience and flexibility with young children, with calm and consistent classroom presence. Required
• Certification Pathway Willingness to pursue ACSI aide certification when applicable.

• Aide assignments may support multiple classrooms based on enrollment and daily needs.
• This role provides a pathway toward lead teacher opportunities for candidates pursuing credentials.
• This position is eligible for an employee tuition benefit for enrolled children.
