Job Details
Position Title: Ink Testing Technician
Wage: $22-$25/hour
Shift: 1st
Hours: 8am-5pm Monday-Friday

Inkjet Print Samples & Testing
- Produce inkjet print samples for internal teams and customer requests
- Maintain and modify print rigs used for ink testing and sample production
- Track and document testing processes, including substrates, inks, and print methods used
- Collaborate with chemists to determine appropriate substrates, inks, and testing parameters
- Communicate testing results with sales teams and customers as needed
- Maintain knowledge of substrates, inks, and surface treatments
- Maintain, repair, organize, and schedule all inkjet printers and related equipment in the printer lab
- Monitor printer performance daily and document inkjet qualification results
- Support chemists during inkjet testing and printer validation processes
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional lab environment
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 2 years of experience with inkjet printers and related inks preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Mechanical aptitude and basic electronic experience or training preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively with cross‑functional teams
- Ability to use sensory perception and muscle coordination effectively, including vision, hearing, dexterity, and reaction time
- Exposure to solvents, acids, and detailed visual work on computer screens and printed materials
- Must be able to perform tasks requiring strength, flexibility, and fine motor skills, with or without reasonable accommodation
