Position Title:
Mill Maintenance Technician Wage: $21.00-$24.00/hour
Shift: 1st
Hours:
8:00am-5:00pm Monday-Friday An excellent opportunity for mechanically inclined candidates who enjoy working with both production equipment and hands-on maintenance. In this role, you'll operate and maintain media mills used in the manufacturing process, ensuring products are produced to quality specifications while keeping equipment running efficiently. This direct hire position offers a combination of machine operation, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and material handling, making it ideal for someone who likes staying active and solving mechanical challenges.
Successful candidates will be self-motivated, detail-oriented, comfortable working in an industrial environment, and willing to get their hands dirty while contributing to a safe and productive manufacturing operation. Don’t miss this direct hire opportunity in Nixa, MO.
- All aspects of daily mill operation and routine maintenance
- Review specifications and raw materials based on the batch ticket for product to be milled
- Mix raw materials following company specifications to mill the product
- Work in production on the machine to produce product as well as maintaining it
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized work area
- Previous industrial or electrical maintenance experience, minimum of 2 years
- Basic math skills
- Basic computer skills
- Basic electrical knowledge a plus
- Basic mechanical aptitude
- Organized/detail-oriented
- Self-directed
- Open to getting dirty
- Generally must be able to, with or without accommodation, proficiently use both sensory perception/clarity and muscle control/coordination; may include vision (near, far, color, glare control), hearing (auditory attention, sound localization), speech, strength, agility, dexterity flexibility, steadiness or reaction time
- Frequent heavy lifting up to 50 pounds and may require long periods of standing
- Ability to commute to Nixa
