Responsibilities
  • Act as a Superior Supervisor: in the absence of department heads, oversee the building, assist and lead the Wellness team and other departments to provide quick, reliable, person‑centered care.
  • Be a Force on the Floor: set a good example, be available to help with call lights and requests for assistance, and demonstrate a sense of urgency that puts residents’ needs first.
  • Be a Diligent Documenter: complete resident assessments, medical records, and internal documents accurately, efficiently and file them correctly.
  • Be a Compassionate Caregiver: embody the core values of Arrow, ensure every interaction with a resident is professional, caring and leaves them feeling safe and cared for.
Qualifications
  • Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing within the state of employment.
  • Provide direct, hands‑on nursing care, including medication passes as needed.
  • Thorough working knowledge of current care standards and regulations.
  • Comprehensive working knowledge of current medication regulation and law.
  • Knowledge of requirements for providing care and supervision appropriate to residents.
  • Experience in hands‑on care of memory‑impaired residents is preferred, but not required.
  • Experience with an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) is preferred, but not required.
  • Proficient in reading, writing, understanding, and communicating in English with residents.
  • Positive and energetic attitude toward residents.
  • Must be active: role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping all day.
  • Ability to frequently lift/move items up to 50 pounds and perform two‑person transfers.
  • Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, walking, and assist after a fall.
  • Must be criminally cleared.
