Position Summary
Wellness Nurse Manager – PRN.
Location:
Nixa, Missouri (1538 N Old Castle Rd.). Shift schedule:
As needed. Starting wage: $31.00 per hour.
- Act as the superior supervisor in the absence of department heads, managing the building and leading the Wellness team and other departments to provide quick, reliable, person‑centered care.
- Serve as a force on the floor by setting a good example, being available to help with call lights and requests, and demonstrating a sense of urgency that prioritizes resident needs.
- Maintain diligent documentation: complete resident assessments, medical records, and internal documents accurately, efficiently, and filed correctly.
- Provide compassionate care, exemplifying the core values and ensuring each interaction with a resident is professional, caring, and leaves the resident feeling safe and cared for.
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing in the state of employment.
- Comprehensive working knowledge of current care standards, regulations, medication regulation, and laws.
- Knowledge of requirements for providing appropriate care and supervision for residents.
- Experience in hands‑on care of memory‑impaired residents preferred.
- Experience with an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) preferred.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, understanding, and communicating in English with residents.
- Positive and energetic attitude.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop all day as the role requires.
- Ability to lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds and perform two‑person transfers.
- Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, walking, and post‑fall assistance.
- Criminal clearance required.
