Cook (Full‑Time)

Nixa, Missouri (1538 N. Old Castle Rd., Nixa, MO 65714)

Sign On Bonus: $1,000

Starting wage: $16.00–$18.00 per hour

• Sunday/Monday 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM

• Prepare all menu items according to established standards and recipes, providing exceptional quality food that is attractively presented and served in a timely manner.
• Ensure health protocols are always followed, including proper hygiene, sanitary food preparation, and correct food temperatures.
• Familiarize yourself with residents and their preferences and needs; participate in resident orientations.

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
• Current Food Handlers Card per Department of Health.
• Demonstrated skills, knowledge, and competency in leadership, training, and supervision.
• Proficient written and oral communication skills with management, professional, and support staff.
• Active: role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
• Able to frequently lift or move items up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable with close contact to extreme temperatures (cooking surfaces, walk‑in freezers).
• Ability to work primarily indoors; also available for outdoor events.
• Criminally cleared.
