Cook (Full‑Time)
LocationNixa, Missouri (1538 N. Old Castle Rd., Nixa, MO 65714)
CompensationSign On Bonus: $1,000
Starting wage: $16.00–$18.00 per hour
Schedule- Sunday/Monday 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- Prepare all menu items according to established standards and recipes, providing exceptional quality food that is attractively presented and served in a timely manner.
- Ensure health protocols are always followed, including proper hygiene, sanitary food preparation, and correct food temperatures.
- Familiarize yourself with residents and their preferences and needs; participate in resident orientations.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
- Current Food Handlers Card per Department of Health.
- Demonstrated skills, knowledge, and competency in leadership, training, and supervision.
- Proficient written and oral communication skills with management, professional, and support staff.
- Active: role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
- Able to frequently lift or move items up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable with close contact to extreme temperatures (cooking surfaces, walk‑in freezers).
- Ability to work primarily indoors; also available for outdoor events.
- Criminally cleared.
