Your role in the store will be to assist the Produce Manager in providing high quality fresh produce.

Part Time/Full Time – Entry Level

Produce Manager

• Providing exceptional service to all clientele and sharing your expert knowledge on produce
• Assisting the Produce Manager in maintaining, stocking, cleaning, and keeping proper signage in the Produce Department
• Properly culling, rotating, and restocking produce
• Keeping the prep area, walk-in cooler, and sales floor clean

• Following all safety guidelines & reporting any missing or non-functional safety equipment
• Complying with all company policies including dress code and wearing a name tag
• Completing all company training as required for the produce department
• Staying up to date with the latest training and knowledge available for produce while maintaining good communication with other departments

Must be able to lift 60 lb. boxes occasionally and exert 25-60 lbs. of force frequently, and 10-20 lbs. constantly while handling materials and products. Must have dexterous use of both hands. Must be able to stand and move about various workstations. Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull items to facilitate movement of objects. Ability to use knives and other sharp instruments for food preparation and product removal from boxes.

This is medium work requiring good, corrected vision, hearing, and physical capabilities including lifting, carrying, stooping, kneeling, standing, reaching, pushing, and pulling, even on slippery floors.
