Heavy Equipment Operator​/Land Excavation

Penmac Staffing is hiring a Heavy Equipment Operator for a local excavation company. This is a full-time position, Monday – Friday, operating excavators, skid steer track loaders, and backhoe for land excavation projects in the Spring­field area. Pay: $20 per hour.

• Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–end of day (some flexibility; occasional early finish around 5:00 PM depending on weather and project needs)
• Pay: $20 per hour

• Minimum 1 year of experience operating heavy equipment, including excavators, skid steer track loaders, and backhoes.
• Ability to safely load and unload dump trucks, screen dirt, and dig and backfill foundations.
• Must be willing to submit to a drug screen.
• Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions.
• Strong attention to safety and detail.
• Will work in the Springfield surrounding areas.
• Preferable that the operator lives within 40 miles of Springfield.

• Operate excavators, skid steer track loaders, and backhoe for land excavation projects.
• Load and unload dump trucks efficiently.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain equipment in good working condition.
• Assist with excavation tasks as directed by the manager.
• Operate earthmoving and construction equipment.
• Experience operating excavation and site‑preparation equipment.
• Have a good work history and be dependable.
