Position Summary
The Lead Technician, Facility Services, Exterior Services, oversees and supports a team to ensure high-quality maintenance and landscaping operations. This role involves coordinating work assignments, monitoring performance, and ensuring compliance with safety and company standards.
About the TeamThe Exterior Services team leads the upkeep and enhancement of outdoor environments across multiple sites, ensuring safety, functionality, and visual appeal. They coordinate landscaping activities, property repairs, and equipment maintenance while adhering to company standards and regulatory requirements. The team collaborates closely with store management and maintenance teams, prioritizing efficient task completion and proactive issue resolution, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and compliance.
WhatYou'll Do
- Lead and support teams by coordinating work assignments and sharing resources to meet business priorities.
- Supervise associates by assigning duties, providing feedback, and monitoring performance to ensure quality and compliance.
- Maintain safety and quality standards by ensuring equipment and supplies are functional and available at shift start.
- Manage landscaping tasks including planting, pruning, pest control, and general exterior maintenance.
- Utilize technology to complete work orders, maintain records, and support operational efficiency.
- Provide expert guidance on horticulture methods and regulatory compliance.
- Foster positive communication with facility users to resolve issues and enhance service delivery.
- Proven leadership experience in supervising and developing teams to achieve operational goals and maintain high performance standards.
- Strong knowledge of horticulture and landscape management, including planting, pruning, pest control, and maintenance of garden beds and exterior areas.
- Ability to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, including OSHA, NFPA, and environmental standards.
- Skill in coordinating work assignments, monitoring quality, and providing constructive feedback to associates.
- Proficiency in using technology to manage work orders, documentation, and communication effectively.
- Excellent problem‑solving and customer service skills to address facility user concerns promptly.

The hourly wage range for this position is $26.00 - $51.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation may include premiums ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
Minimum Qualifications- 21 years of age or older.
- Valid, state‑issued driver's license.
- No convictions for DUI, DWI, OUI, or reckless driving involving alcohol or drugs within the last three (3) years.
- No more than two moving violations in the last 3 years, if driving a commercial motor vehicle.
- No serious traffic violations (as defined by Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations) in the 3 years, if operating a commercial motor vehicle.
