Heavy Equipment Operator Land Excavation

Schedule and Pay

Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–end of day (some flexibility, occasional early finish around 5:00 PM depending on weather and project needs).

Pay: $22 per hour.

• Minimum 1 year of experience operating heavy equipment, including excavators, skid steer track loaders and backhoes.
• Ability to safely load and unload dump trucks, screen dirt and dig and backfill foundations.
• Must be willing to submit to a drug screen.
• Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions.
• Strong attention to safety and detail.
• Will work in the Springfield surrounding areas.
• Prefer the operator lives within 40 miles of Springfield.

• Operate excavators, skid steer track loaders and backhoe for land excavation projects.
• Load and unload dump trucks efficiently.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain equipment in good working condition.
• Assist with excavation tasks as directed by the manager.
• Operation of earthmoving and construction equipment.
• Experience operating excavation and site‑preparation equipment.
• Have a good work history and dependable work ethic.
