PositionWe're looking for a Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) Delivery Driver to join our team. Working as a VMI Delivery Driver, you will deliver customer orders and replenish VMI equipment in your assigned geographic territory. We will provide the training needed for you to effectively and efficiently load items into the tool and MRO industrial vending machines that are located in our customers’ manufacturing facilities.
You will be our customer’s point of contact for deliveries, so a customer service focus is required.

Position Responsibilities- Deliver product daily to a territory of customers and communicate with distribution center on delivery status.
- Load/unload delivery orders and ensure signatures confirming receipt and other appropriate paperwork are completed upon delivery.
- Troubleshoot tool & MRO industrial vending machines.
- Communicate with all customer personnel in a timely, professional, and courteous manner.
- Maintain quality service levels and process efficiencies while providing for continuous departmental improvements.
- Effectively coordinate with VMI Manager regarding customer accounts & best practices.
- Assist with other projects & duties when the business needs require.
- Experience driving a box truck
- Distribution delivery experience
- Must be age 21+ in order to drive a company vehicle
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Plans and organizes tasks & work responsibilities to achieve goals and objectives while remaining calm & professional under pressure
- Self-directed and possesses a high level of productivity and personal organization while dealing with frequent interruptions
- Customer‑centric attitude and a desire to grow with & contribute to a customer‑focused company
- Proficient use of a Windows computer, including Microsoft Office & Teams
- Excellent communication skills including verbal, written, and interpersonal required
- Strong problem solving and deductive reasoning skills
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalency
- Ability to lift, slide, and lower packages that can weigh up to 70lbs
- Frequent twisting, bending, standing
