Radio Technician - Nizwa, Oman
We are searching for a skilled Radio Technician to join our team in Nizwa, Oman. As a Radio Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing radio communication equipment. This role requires strong technical skills and knowledge of radio frequencies and communication systems.
Responsibilities- Install, maintain, and repair radio communication equipment according to manufacturer's instructions
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with radio equipment
- Conduct routine inspections and testing of radios to ensure proper functioning
- Keep accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and equipment inventory
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to coordinate projects and solve technical problems
- Stay updated on industry advancements and new technologies related to radio communications
- High school diploma or equivalent certification in electronics or a related field
- Proven experience as a Radio Technician or similar role
- Strong understanding of radio frequencies and communication systems
- Ability to read technical diagrams and manuals for troubleshooting purposes
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Physical ability to climb towers or work in confined spaces if needed
- Good communication skills in English
