Mason

We are hiring a skilled Mason to join our team in Nizwa. As a Mason, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and maintaining structures made of brick, stone, concrete, and other materials. You will also be required to mix and apply mortar and grout, lay bricks and stones, and ensure that all work meets safety standards.

• - Read blueprints or instructions to determine the scope of work
• - Measure and mark surfaces to be covered
• - Mix mortar or grout according to specifications
• - Lay out patterns or designs using tools such as levels and straightedges
• - Use hand tools and equipment to cut, shape, and polish materials
• - Lay bricks or stones in rows or patterns as per design plans
• - Apply mortar between joints of bricks or stones using trowels
• - Check alignment and levelness of structures using levels and plumb lines
• - Repair cracked or damaged structures using appropriate materials
• - Follow safety procedures at all times to prevent accidents on the job site

• - Proven experience as a Mason or similar role
• - Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions accurately
• - Proficient in mixing mortar and laying bricks/stones according to design plans
• - Strong knowledge of various masonry materials such as brick, stone, concrete, etc.
• - Familiarity with safety procedures on construction sites
• - Ability to use hand tools and equipment effectively
• - Physical strength and stamina to handle heavy materials

The salary for this position is 1100$ per month.

This job is located in Nizwa. Candidates from Egypt or Kenya are preferred but all nationalities are welcome to apply.

This is a full-time position with standard working hours. Part-time options may be available based on business needs.
