Job Summary:
The Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for managing and maintaining the company's accounts receivable process. This includes ensuring timely and accurate invoicing, creating credit memos, Portal set-up/managing the portals, and reviewing taxes. The specialist will work closely with customers and internal departments to resolve any billing issues and ensure the smooth operation of the accounts receivable function.
Invoicing and Billing:
Generate and send out invoices once the orders ships. Create batches for the invoices for future request.
Complete a daily download of invoices after shipping time ends to ensure invoices are delivered within 24 hours.
Review and correct tax discrepancies on invoices.
Work with customer service and sales to ensure accuracy of credit memos.
Administer access to portals.
Create credit memos. Work with customer services/sales to ensure accuracy.
Customer Relations:
Respond to customer inquiries regarding invoices.
Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive relationships with customers.
Qualifications:
Experience:
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounts receivable or a similar role.
Skills:
Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and accounts receivable processes.
Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of ERP systems.
Working Conditions:
Office environment with standard working hours.
Occasional overtime may be required during peak periods or month-end closing.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit for extended periods and use a computer.
Minimal physical effort required.

Base Pay Range: $36,
