Senior Superintendent – Large-Scale Multifamily & Mixed-Use Projects

Compensation: $110,000 – $150,000 per year.

Since the early 1990s, this company has delivered billions of dollars in development projects and maintains an active pipeline across multiple U.S. markets. Lead complex, large‑scale multifamily and mixed‑use construction projects.

• Work with an integrated team spanning development, design, and construction
• Influence project execution from preconstruction through final delivery

Senior Superintendents play a critical leadership role in delivering high‑profile projects while mentoring field teams and driving operational excellence.

Responsibilities include:

• Oversee field operations on projects valued at $50M+.
• Manage and mentor superintendents, field engineers, and subcontractors.
• Plan construction scheduling, sequencing, and site logistics.
• Oversee safety programs and maintain high safety standards.
• Coordinate subcontractor work, quality control, and inspection processes.
• Drive project schedules and resolve field‑level issues to maintain milestones.
• Lead project meetings and coordinate with project managers, architects, engineers, and ownership teams.
• Ensure adherence to construction documents, specifications, and building codes.

• 10+ years of construction experience with a commercial general contractor or developer‑builder.
• Proven experience leading ground‑up multifamily, mixed‑use, or large commercial construction projects.
• Strong leadership experience managing superintendents, field engineers, and subcontractors.
• Expertise in construction scheduling, sequencing, and site logistics.
• Experience overseeing safety programs and maintaining high safety standards on active construction sites.
• Proficiency with construction management software platforms and digital documentation tools.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Strong knowledge of construction documents, specifications, and building codes.
