A long-established company is adding a brand-new Payroll & Finance Analyst to its Finance team. If you're the person who catches the discrepancy everyone else missed, you'll fit right in. The role combines hands-on payroll with detailed financial auditing, and it has room to grow within Finance.

• Process biweekly payroll for exempt and non-exempt employees
• Review time cards and make sure labor is allocated to the right departments and projects
• Audit insurance and benefit invoices against enrollment records, then allocate the costs
• Review employee expense reports in Concur and monthly corporate card statements
• Prepare commission statements and payments, and reconcile commissions to the general ledger each month
• Prepare payroll, labor, tax and benefit reports for Accounting, HR and leadership
• Help with state tax registrations as the business expands

• 4+ years of payroll and/or finance experience
• Hands-on payroll processing, including time cards
• Strong auditing and reconciliation skills with close attention to detail
• Proficiency with an HRIS/payroll system and Excel
• Pluses: multi-state payroll, payroll tax knowledge, commissions, Concur, Paycor
• A degree is not required. Experience matters more.

• $65K–$70K base, plus a share of a 10% profit-sharing bonus (typically worth 2–4 extra paychecks a year)
