STAFF INFRASTRUCTURE ENGINEER | SERIES B TECH START-UP | $200-250k | REMOTE US/CANADA

Our client is a Series B ($80m+) start-up revolutionizing APIs with open-source and commercial software that supports modern technologies. They're backed by top investors and deployed at both small startups and major enterprises.

What you'll do:

• Streamline multi-cloud configuration and management across Google Cloud and AWS resources (e.g., Crossplane, GKE, EKS, managed Postgres).
• Ensure proper environments for validating changes and resolving bugs before they reach customers (local, review, and staging environments).
• Maintain high availability and rapid release cycles via a seamless deployment and staged release process (e.g., ArgoCD) across different production topologies (multi-tenant, single-tenant, on-prem).
• Enhance observability by empowering engineers to create user-friendly dashboards and effective alerts (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana).

What we're looking for:

• 6+ years of experience owning projects as part of a team of software engineers in infrastructure or platform-related roles.
• 3+ years of Go
• Experience not only using Kubernetes but also operating it. (Or similar experience with CRDs etc.)
• A track record of designing and building robust, reliable, production-grade distributed systems.
• The ability to move quickly and pragmatically while managing trade-offs.

Bonus Points:

• Experience working on products that target developers (e.g., dev tools).
• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Mathematics.
• Working hours that significantly overlap with Eastern Time.

Interview process: 4 hours total, including technical interviews and a CEO chat. No take-home tasks.
