Junior DevOps​/Cloud Engineer

Gilytics is a Swiss geospatial SaaS startup behind Pathfinder, a platform that helps utilities and infrastructure companies plan, route, and permit critical infrastructure faster and more sustainably. We’re a small, remote-first team spread across Switzerland, Spain, and the Americas and we’re scaling fast, including into North America.

We’re looking for a Junior Dev Ops / Cloud Engineer to support our System Engineer in keeping Pathfinder’s AWS infrastructure running smoothly and to grow into a genuine second pair of hands for our infrastructure team. If you want hands-on AWS experience with real ownership (and a clear path to grow), this is a great place to start.

• Support configuration and deployment of our AWS cloud infrastructure
• Help manage vulnerabilities across our infrastructure and dependencies
• Monitor logs and alerts and elevate anomalies the right way
• Contribute to infrastructure testing, KPI tracking, and reporting
• Learn our systems and runbooks well enough to become a real backup for critical incidents

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
• Coursework in architecture/administration of information systems
• Practical experience in system administration and Linux

• Master’s degree in Software Engineering, Distributed Software Systems, or similar
• Courses/certifications in CI/CD, AWS, cybersecurity, infrastructure as code, or applied AI
