We are seeking an experienced Locums Pain Management Nurse Practitioner to join awell-established outpatient pain management practice in Noblesville, Indiana.
This is an excellent opportunity to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care in a collaborative outpatient setting with a consistent weekday schedule and no call responsibilities.
The ideal candidate willhave experience managing patients with acute and chronic pain conditions and be comfortable prescribing opioid medications when clinically appropriate.
Position Highlights- Practice Setting: Outpatient Pain Management Clinic
- Schedule: Mondayriday
- Monday
-Thursday: 7:00 AM 4:00 PM(Patient hours: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM) - Friday: 7:00 AM 12:00 PM (Patient hours: 8:00 AM 12:00 PM)
- No Call
- Day shifts only
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with acute and chronic pain conditions.
- Develop individualized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based pain management strategies.
- Prescribe and manage medications,including opioid therapy, in accordance with state and federal guidelines.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Perform comprehensive physical assessments and coordinate appropriate diagnostic testing.
- Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary care team to optimize patient outcomes.
- Educate patients on pain management options, medication safety, and lifestyle modifications.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
- Active Indiana Nurse Practitioner license.
- Board Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner (AGNP), orrelated specialty.
- Minimum of 2–3 years of experience inpain management, orthopedics, neurology, physical medicine and rehabilitation, or a related specialty.
- Comfortable prescribing and managing opioid medications.
- Strong understanding of controlled substance prescribing guidelines and monitoring programs.
- Experience using electronic medical records; eClinical
Works experience is a plus. - Excellent clinical judgment,communication skills, and patient-centered approach.
- Active DEA registration and controlled substance license.
- Experience in interventional pain management preferred.
- Familiarity with procedures such asjoint injections, trigger point injections, and other office-based pain management techniques preferred.
