Work day-to-day operations in Magic and Pokemon Singles, following prescribed processes and making sure the customer experience consistently exceeds expectations.

Google defines a "moonshot" as an extremely ambitious and innovative project. Though Moonshot Games started as just one retail store in downtown Noblesville, we now have a second location in Plainfield, a Youtube stream Rip and Ship by Moonshot, we host private parties in themed rooms, sell Pokemon and Magic and much much more. Today we represent more than just a handful of game stores.

Ours is a place for people without a place. A safe spot to visit, play, laugh, and learn within a loving, supportive community. Yet this dream wouldn't have become reality without our amazing staff and customers, because it was too big to build by our will alone. Description

Primary Responsibilities
Daily Operations
  • Pull and process orders (previous night + same-day customer requests).
  • Process buylists accurately and efficiently.
  • Fold cards in, upload batches, and work through backlog queues.
  • Perform larger inventory health projects and spot audits as assigned.
  • Maintain presentation standards (cleanliness, full cases, restocked supplies).
  • Ensure cards are placed correctly (bulk, binders, KKD/KKD-P, liquidation, inventory, or special cases).
  • Support events as needed (promo prep, prize setup, basic player assistance).
Customer Experience & Issue Resolution
  • Handle customer-facing issues—inventory discrepancies, missing cards, substitutions—quickly and professionally.
  • Email customers promptly on missing-card issues before refunds occur.
  • Log recurring issues or trends for management review and process improvement.
Communication & Workflow Support
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily workflow across orders, inventory, KKD/PKKD and FOH tasks.
  • Proactively communicate blockers, inventory concerns, or system issues to management.
  • Follow established procedures consistently and provide feedback when improvements are identified.
Success Metrics
  • Smooth, efficient daily operations with minimal backlog.
  • Accurate and timely order fulfillment and buylist processing.
  • Improved health and organization of Magic and Pokémon inventory systems.
  • Positive customer feedback and reduced error rates.
  • Clear, proactive communication on issues, trends, and system concerns.
  • Consistent adherence to established processes and quality standards.
