We’re looking for an enthusiastic, organized, and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Retail Sales & Customer Service Associate. This position is the face of our game store, welcoming customers, handling sales, customer service inquiries, and maintaining a clean, organized environment. Ideal candidates are friendly, detail-oriented, and excited about gaming culture.

Google defines a "moonshot" as an extremely ambitious and innovative project. Though Moonshot Games started as just one retail store in downtown Noblesville, we now have a second location in Plainfield, a Youtube stream Rip and Ship by Moonshot, we host private parties in themed rooms, sell Pokemon and Magic and much much more. Today we represent more than just a handful of game stores.

Ours is a place for people without a place. A safe spot to visit, play, laugh, and learn within a loving, supportive community. Yet this dream wouldn't have become reality without our amazing staff and customers, because it was too big to build by our will alone. It was Noblesville's dream, but we will continue to serve our community with plenty more big ideas as we reach for the stars.

• Greet and assist walk-in customers, creating a welcoming and engaging in-store experience.
• Provide knowledgeable support on general products; refer customers to specialists for deeper questions (e.g., Magic: The Gathering singles, Pokemon, D&D materials).
• Operate the POS register to process purchases, returns, gift cards, and store credit transactions.
• Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone, email, or in-store.
• Promote current sales, new arrivals, and store events when relevant.

Sales Floor & Inventory Support

• Restock shelves and maintain tidy, organized displays throughout the store.
• Perform routine inventory checks and help identify stock shortages or overages.
• Receive and process product transfers from other store locations or suppliers.
• Assist with merchandising and signage updates when needed.
• Manage communication related to online and phone orders.
• Pull and prepare customer orders for in-store pickup.
• Notify customers of order status and follow up on any uncollected items.

Store Maintenance

• Complete daily opening and closing checklists to ensure the store is clean, safe, and ready for customers.
• Maintain cleanliness of sales floor, counters, and common areas throughout the day.
• Report maintenance or safety issues to management promptly.

• Prior retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Friendly, approachable attitude with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong sense of responsibility.
• Comfortable learning and using store systems and technology (e.g., Shopify POS, Gorgias).
• Availability during evenings and weekends is required.

• Knowledge of tabletop games, board games, trading card games, or RPGs is a big plus.
• Experience with point-of-sale systems and/or e-commerce platforms.
