Retail Assistant Store Manager

Duluth Trading Company seeks a Retail Assistant Store Manager to support daily operations, drive sales, and deliver outstanding service. Responsibilities include opening/closing, cash handling, merchandising, inventory management, and ensuring brand standards on the sales floor. You'll partner with the Store Manager on scheduling, training, and performance feedback while fostering a fun, hardworking culture that celebrates hands on lifestyles and keeps customers ready for work and the outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager with daily store operations and decision making
• Lead and coach associates to deliver exceptional customer service
• Handle opening, closing, and cash management procedures
• Oversee merchandising, visual standards, and product presentation
• Monitor inventory levels, receiving, and stockroom organization
• Support staffing, scheduling, and on the job training for team members
• Track sales performance and key metrics to meet store goals
• Promote loss prevention and safety policies on the sales floor
• Resolve customer issues and ensure a positive in store experience
• Help foster a collaborative, hardworking, and authentic store culture
