The successful candidate will be responsible for developing sales strategies and revenue objectives, training and evaluating sales staff, and ensuring new and repeat business growth across multiple hotel sectors. We seek a seasoned sales professional with over five years of experience, demonstrated leadership, strong problem-solving skills, and effective teamwork abilities. The role includes prospecting and closing assigned accounts or territories to drive positive hotel revenue results.

Responsibilities:
  • Attain comprehensive knowledge of hotel operations, including Food and Beverage, Guest Services, and Reservations.
  • Acquire a thorough understanding of company sales policies and SOPs and ensure adherence among the sales team.
  • Initiate and diligently follow up on sales leads.
  • Participate in an active solicitation program to generate business.
  • Monitor production and analyze trends of top accounts within your market segment.
  • Maintain regular contact with existing accounts based on prescribed frequencies.
  • Host clients at the hotel for entertainment, luncheons, tours, and site inspections.
  • Support implementation of special promotions related to direct sales segments, such as parties and sales blitzes.
  • Assist in preparing required reports promptly.
  • Conduct professional and detailed site inspections, highlighting key features and benefits for clients.
  • Efficiently use the hotel's computerized sales management system for business management, reporting, account creation, and space allocation.
  • Welcome and engage onsite contacts.
  • Develop networking opportunities through active participation in community and professional associations.
