Malena Produce, Inc., a growing leader in the fresh produce industry, is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our team.
Responsibilities- Supporting daily accounting operations
- Preparing financial reports
- Performing account reconciliations
- Monitoring cash flow
- Assisting with budgeting and forecasting
- Processing banking transactions
- Maintaining grower accounts and settlements
- Supporting year-end close activities
- Ensuring regulatory compliance
- Coordinating with external financial professionals
- Providing management reporting and financial analysis
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of three years of accounting experience
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Attention to detail
- Organizational abilities
- Problem-solving skills
- Experience in the fresh produce industry is a plus but not required
Position is full time.
