Sales & Business Development Executive

The Sales & Business Development Executive will have direct access to supply, pricing authority within agreed guardrails, and a Managing Director who will remove obstacles and back you with product.

• Identify, prospect, and close new customers across retail, wholesale/distribution, and food service nationwide.
• Develop a target list and pipeline; own it end-to-end from first contact through first load.
• Present the full product offering, negotiate pricing and terms, and convert trial orders into recurring programs.
• Serve as the primary relationship owner for every customer you bring in.
• Expand each account over time: more items, more weeks, more volume, more locations.
• Anticipate customer needs and feed them back to the Managing Director to shape sourcing and new product additions.
• Coordinate with the Managing Director and operations on availability, pricing, logistics, and order fulfilment.
• Track pipeline, sales, and account performance and report on them regularly.
• Represent Agricola Cactus at customer visits, trade shows, and industry events.

• Existing relationships with US produce buyers.
• Familiarity with PACA, food safety certifications, and cross-border produce logistics.
• Based in or near Arizona.

• 2 to 5 years of sales or business development experience in the fresh produce industry.
• Working knowledge of how US produce buyers operate: retail, wholesale, distribution, and/or food service procurement.
• A track record of opening new accounts, not just servicing existing ones.
