Arizona Distribution Center Associate

Job Overview

As a Distribution Coordinator at MKS Inc., you will partner with internal and external customers to provide world class distribution center centric support. In this role, you will report to the Supervisor of Materials.

• Perform the physical or administrative/physical tasks involved in shipping, receiving, storing, and distributing materials, parts, supplies, and equipment.
• Unpack and check goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintain records of received goods, and reject unsatisfactory items when necessary.
• Prepare and maintain records of merchandise shipped, post weights and shipping charges, and prepare goods for final shipment.
• Examine, stock, and distribute materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines.
• Prepare kitting packages for assembly production and customers.

Up to 10% of travel may be required.

• Experience in shipping, receiving, and stores, and reading, writing and basic arithmetic skills.
• Completion of high school, vocational training, or equivalent is preferred.
• 1+ years of related experience.

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Regularly requires good manual dexterity and coordination.
• Frequently positions self to perform tasks and positions objects below, at, and above shoulder level.
• Must be able to communicate information and ideas so others will understand.
• Operates in a warehousing environment.
• Constantly operates a computer and other productivity machinery.
• Dedication to safety to mitigate hazards including handling mechanical and electrical hardware, high voltage, gas, water, and heat.
