A luxury occasion-wear label rooted in quiet elegance, thoughtful design, and timeless silhouettes. We create clothing for moments that matter — cocktail evenings, engagement celebrations, receptions, intimate dinners, and refined formal wear. Our design language prioritises restraint, structure, and presence over trends or excess. This is brand will be launching soon and passionate people are priorities.

Role Overview

We are looking for a designer with strong aesthetic judgment and an understanding of elegant womenswear, who can translate ideas into refined, wearable designs aligned with our philosophy.

This role requires taste, discipline, and intention — not fast fashion thinking.

Key Responsibilities Design & Development

- Design occasion wear dresses (cocktail, engagement, reception, dinner party) with a focus on:
- MIDI and MAXI lengths
- Thoughtful necklines
- Elegant, balanced silhouettes
- Design women’s formal pantsuits with a refined, powerful aesthetic
- Work with fabrics such as satin, georgette, crepe, organza, and other suitable luxury materials
- Develop designs that feel timeless, not trend-driven

Fit & Construction

- Create designs that are flattering, comfortable, and well-proportioned
- Design consciously for plus sizes — not simple size grading
- Work closely with the production team to ensure quality.
- Proper drape
- Clean finishing
- High-quality construction

Research & Aesthetic Direction

- Conduct design research that is aligned with luxury fashion, not mass-market trends
- Understand international luxury aesthetics while adapting for Indian sensibilities
- Maintain consistency with the brand’s design charter and manifesto

Sampling & Execution

- Create detailed design briefs and tech packs
- Oversee sampling, fittings, and revisions
- Ensure final samples match the original design vision

What We Are NOT Looking For

- Designers focused on bodycon, overly revealing, or fast-fashion silhouettes
- Trend-chasers or Instagram-first designers
- Anyone who prioritises quantity over quality

Required Qualifications & Experience

- Degree or diploma in Fashion Design (NIFT, Pearl, NID or equivalent preferred)
- 2–6 years experience in womenswear, occasion wear, or luxury/bridge-to-luxury brands
- Strong understanding of:
- Garment construction
- Fabric behaviour
- Fit across sizes
- Ability to sketch, conceptualise, and execute designs independently

Portfolio Requirements (Very Important)

Your portfolio must include:

- Occasion wear dresses (not casual wear only)
- Evidence of elegant silhouettes and thoughtful design
- Work that shows restraint, proportion, and fabric understanding

Portfolios focused only on:

streetwear, clubwear, fast fashion, or bodycon styles

will not be considered.
