India’s most loved and agenda-setting English news channel is hiring leaders for the country’s youngest and most dynamic Output Desk. This aggressive leadership team will drive the nerve center of the channel and ensure editorially, the competition continues to be left behind, day after day.

We are on the lookout for the brightest editorial minds in the country to work with us at our headquarters in Noida. News Editors on the Output Desk will handle the team’s daily operations and ensure they are the gatekeepers on a real-time 24/7 basis. They will be the first respondents to all news breaking into the newsroom and take ownership for all editorial decisions.

We expect you to have solid experience in a broadcast newsroom, with a proven ability to take editorial calls, manage teams and set the agenda. You must be driven by editorial purpose, deep in your knowledge of current affairs and seamless in your leadership style to motivate and manage young, budding talent. You must have the ability to grasp the core editorial outlook from your reporting managers and execute it on the news floor with seamless coordination between different teams including Production, Input, Graphics, PCR and digital.

You will also be responsible to coordinate with Network channels so as to ensure the finest editorial product goes on air.

You will be expected to take charge of shifts editorially and coordinate newsroom operations. You will also work closely with the Input Desk on daily news list planning and ensure aggressive execution with precision, depth and innovation. You will coordinate with the news gathering teams to manage all stories breaking and take responsibility for rundowns during the exciting 24x7 news cycle.

Having prior broadcast news desk experience in decision making roles is mandatory to apply.
