Graphic Illustrator + Designer

At  Little Hands Big Hearts , we create playful, screen-free learning tools for curious kids—and we’re also the creative spark behind the social media of some inspiring schools and brands.

We're looking for an  imaginative illustrator   + creative designer  who loves telling stories through visuals. If your sketchbook is filled with whimsical characters, bold ideas, and thoughtful design—and if you love working on kids’ content—this might be the role for you!

What you’ll do:

Create original illustrations and engaging visual assets for children's books, learning materials, flashcards, games, posters, and classroom resources
Design creative graphics for social media, websites, marketing campaigns, presentations, and print collaterals
Collaborate with writers, educators, and content creators to transform ideas into visually compelling, age-appropriate designs
Develop branding and visual communication materials for schools and child-focused initiatives
Ensure consistency in brand identity, typography, colour palettes, and design standards across all creative outputs
Prepare print-ready and digital files, manage revisions, and deliver projects within timelines
Contribute fresh ideas during brainstorming sessions and help bring creative campaigns to life

You’ll need:
A strong portfolio showcasing both illustration and graphic design work (experience in children's or education-focused projects is a plus!)
Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Canva, and other relevant design tools
Strong understanding of layout, typography, colour theory, and visual storytelling
Ability to create both hand-drawn/digital illustrations and polished graphic designs
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines
A collaborative, proactive mindset with a passion for creativity and continuous learning
