How your day will look like

Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of legal documents, including but not limited to contracts, memoranda of understanding, non-disclosure agreements, service agreements, licensing agreements, and partnership agreements.
Oversee and manage ongoing litigation matters, ensuring that deadlines, filings, and legal procedures are followed and coordinate and collaborate with external legal counsels on litigation strategy.
Monitor and manage the organization's intellectual property (IP) portfolio, including trademarks, patents, copyrights, and trade secrets, ensuring all necessary filings are made timely and in compliance with local and international laws.
Conduct thorough legal research to support the organization's legal needs, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Identify potential legal risks and provide strategic recommendations to mitigate exposure to legal and regulatory challenges.

Education & Work Experience

2-5 years of relevant experience working as a legal & compliance specialist.
Strong academic track record with a mandatory LLB degree.

Knowledge

Stay up-to-date on legislative changes, court rulings, and regulatory developments that could impact the organization.
In-depth understanding of legal and regulatory compliance across various sectors and strong knowledge of intellectual property law, litigation processes, and corporate governance.
Excellent legal research, analytical, and communication skills.

Skills

Excellent verbal and written communication.
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Strong organizational and time management abilities.
High discretion in handling confidential information.

Attitude

Flexible and adaptable.
Skilled ilient under pressure.
Strong sense of ownership.
