Migrant Program Coordinator
The Migrant Program Coordinator works with the Director of Federal Programs to recruit families for the program, provide operational support for migrant program activities and oversee, develop and implement programs that support the academic needs and growth of migratory students.

Nome Public Schools is a single-site district on the coast of the Bering Sea in Northwest Alaska. We have approximately 675 students enrolled with an elementary school, a middle/high school, a 5-8 charter school and a homeschooling program. We are also pleased to launch an ANSEP Acceleration Academy within our middle/high school in the fall of 2025. Nome has a unique blended history as a gold rush site where gold mining continues to this day, and as a summer gathering place for the Inupiaq people of the region.
