SUMMARY

The Electrical Technician will support the Santos Commissioning Team. They will be responsible for the testing, and commissioning of electrical systems and equipment on the Pikka Nanushuk Drillsite B (NDB) Phase 1 Well Tie-In (WTI) Campaign. They will ensure all electrical systems are properly installed, function correctly, and meet safety and quality standards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
  • Providing technical field support to commissioning and startup activities as required.
  • Carry out pre‑commissioning checks in electrical systems including Heat Tracing, in readiness for commissioning and handover to Operations.
  • Accurately document commissioning results, tests, and inspections ensuring all records are up to date in the Completion Management System.
  • Performing and monitoring testing of electrical equipment to assure compliance with specifications and test procedures.
  • Programming of Thermon EHT controllers.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
  • Have formal technical education in Electrical and Instrumentation.
  • Applicants must be eligible and authorized to work in the United States.
  • 5+ years of combined experience in Construction / Commissioning for Industrial and Oil and Gas Facilities.
  • Display experience in the startup of Oil and Gas facilities.
  • Experience on programming of Heat Tracing Controllers.
  • Display understanding of applicable codes and standards.
  • Demonstrated leadership, communication and organizational skills.
  • Display effective interpersonal skills required to interact at all levels of seniority.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Have experience working on the North Slope.
